2018 Senior Seconds Division 1 Final

Well done to our super Senior Seconds team who are the Leinster Seconds Division One Champions.

The boys made up for the disappointment of losing last years final with a 39-15 win over Clongowes. Both teams played attractive, open rugby, in a sporting and enjoyable game.

CCR got tries from Caoimhghin Bradshaw (2) and Ben Murphy to lead 15-8 at the break. There were second half tries from Shane Mallon, Ryan Lomas and Luke Clohessy added to with some great Darragh Tynan kicks. The team-play and handling skills by all the team were of a very high quality.

Well done to the management (Rob, Ray, Alan and Tyrone) who have put in several years of great work with these boys. Also well done to the SCT players who continued to train with the panel despite being out of competition. A selfless act that bonds teams together and strengthens friendships in the CCR family.

A nice end to a tough season. Roll on 2018-19.
