Abbots Cup
Many thanks to all who played in this year’s Abbot’s Cup on Saturday, September 8th. The day got off to a shotgun start at 12.00 noon and playing conditions were very pleasant. Out thanks to Roscrea Golf Club for providing us with such a great facility every year, we appreciate our longstanding relationship with the Club.
We were delighted to have Dom Malachy Thompson OCSO with us to present the Abbot’s Cup and to join us for dinner afterwards in the Club House.
Congratulations to Eamon Maher (CCR 1972/’77) who won the coveted Abbot’s Cup for the third consecutive year.
